Golf Tournament Fundraiser for the 2025 Leadership Symposium Hosted by MID-SOUTH FCPOA
Imagine a world where leaders don’t just command, but inspire. Where decisions are driven by empathy, understanding, and connection. This is the vision behind our Leadership Symposium, a transformative event centered on emotional intelligence.
To make this vision a reality, we invite you to join us for a day of golf, camaraderie, and purpose. Your participation in this tournament isn’t just about the game; it’s about building the leaders of tomorrow—leaders who will shape a future that values emotional intelligence as much as intellect. Together, we can create a ripple effect that will resonate far beyond the fairway.
Let’s tee off for change… and who knows, if you score a hole-in-one, you could drive away with a brand-new car on hole #17 and/or win $1,000 on hole #6.
Enter into a drawing for a trip to the following year's Masters Golf Tournament (two tickets for one day of the event, airfare, and two night hotel stay provided by Promo Sports.)
The golf tournament is open to the public and welcomes all to attend and participate.

Rules and Regulations
The goal is to treat each guest to a safe and enjoyable golf experience.
Four (4) Person Scramble Golf Game with Shotgun Start:
* Each team member tees off on every hole. The team selects the best of those four tee shots, and then all team members play their second shots from that spot, continuing until the hole is completed.
* After selecting the best shot, each team member must place their ball within one club length of that spot, but no closer to the hole.
* The team score is based on the total number of strokes taken by the team to complete the hole.
* The team with the lowest total score for all 18 holes wins. This means the team that completes the course with the fewest strokes collectively emerges as the victor.
* First, Second and Third Place Trophies will be awarded.
String:
* Players can purchase a length of string and use it to move their ball to a better lie, even on the green, or to void a stroke. Typically, players will use the string to hole the ball. If it is used to hole the ball, a stroke is counted. If it used to improve a lie or position on the green, a stroke is counted.
* Used string must be discarded after its use.
* The same section of string cannot be used more than once.
* String usage is not valid on holes with contests like Hole-in-One, Longest Drive, Closest to the Keg, or Closest to the Pin.
Mulligan:
* A mulligan is essentially a "do-over" or a retake of a bad shot/stroke on the course with the exception of putting on the green.
* One (1) mulligan per team. Annotate with “M” on scorecard.
* Mulligan usage is not valid on holes with contests like Hole-in-One, Longest Drive, Closest to the Keg, or Closest to the Pin.
Golf Ball Grenades:
* The player has the option of tossing the ball to advance it from any place on the course except on the greens.
* One (1) golf ball grenade per player allowed for the round. Annotate with “G” on scorecard.
* Teams can purchase a total of four (4) "grenades" for the round, and they can choose to use them instead of a club on any given shot except on the greens.
* The golf ball grenade is not counted as a stroke.
* Golf Ball Grenade usage is not valid on holes with contests like Hole-in-One, Longest Drive, Closest to the Keg, or Closest to the Pin.
Closest to the Pin Contest:
* Setup on the predetermined Par 3 hole #3, identified by a marker and verified with a tape measure.
* The golfer who hits their ball closest to the pin during the tournament wins the prize.
* The person who plays the hole first writes their name and the distance their ball is to the hole. At the end of the event, once everyone has played, the person who hits their ball closest to the pin wins the prize.
* This is also a ‘Guaranteed Winner’ contest.
Closest to the Keg Contest:
* Setup on the predetermined hole #12, identified by a marker, verified with a tape measure and 230 yards from the player's tee.
* The golfer who hits their ball closest to the keg (measured by where the ball comes to rest - hitting the keg doesn't count) during your event wins the keg. The keg will be the winner's choice of a free keg or (2) cases of beer from a predetermined brewery.
* The person who plays the hole first writes their name and the distance their ball is to the keg. At the end of the event, once everyone has played, the person who hits their ball closest to the keg wins the free keg of beer.
* This is also a ‘Guaranteed Winner’ contest.
Longest Drive Contest:
* Identified with a marker.
* The golfer who hits the ball the farthest on the fairway when it comes to rest at hole #8 wins the prize.
* The person with the first long drive writes their name on the marker that is placed next to their ball in the fairway. When someone hits a drive beyond the marker, they move it to where their drive came to rest and write down their name. This continues until everyone has completed play. The ball must be in the fairway when it comes to rest to count as a valid drive for the contest. At the end of your event, the person who hit their ball the farthest on that hole wins the prize!
* This is also a ‘Guaranteed Winner’ contest.
Hole-in-One $1,000 Contest (OPTIONAL ENTRY: $10.00 per Ticket per Golfer):
* Participants compete to win a prize by making a hole-in-one (a single shot from tee to hole) on the designated Par 3 hole # 6.
* Golfers sign up at the tee box. Any golfer that buys a ticket is eligible for a drawing to win a trip (two tickets for one day of the event, airfare, and two night hotel stay provided by Promo Sports) to the following year's Masters Golf Tournament.
* Tee off at 150 yards.
* If the golf ball lands within 6 ft of the cup, the golfer receives a $25 gift certificate to the course's pro shop.
