The Cypress Course in Stonegate Golf Club at Solivita has been skillfully redesigned by Clifton, Ezell & Clifton, (CEC) and fabricated into a more challenging layout than its predecessor. Fairways are still gently rolling and flanked by undisturbed century-old cypress trees: all the greens have been expanded in size to feature undulations acceptable for much faster roll – some greens have now been bulk-headed for a truly spectacular visual effect.

The Cypress is an 18-hole par-72 covering over 6,700 yards designed by Clifton, Ezell and Clifton. It is visually tighter and more challenging that its sister course, the Oaks.

Cart paths now run the length of the course, tee to green, and water comes into play on 13 holes. #16 is a real challenging par 3 over water to a large, bulkheaded green – tough!

Don’t expect to recognize many of the new holes as this picturesque redesign will have you questioning your ability to remember what the course used to be!
